Mood: Pleasantly chilled!
26th August 2006
Windsurfing: Ythan Estuary, Aberdeen
Wind Direction: SSE
Wind Stength: 18-25mph
Surf / Sea State: Flat, some chop
Air Temperature: Warm
Sea Temperature: Warm
Weather: Sunny
Max Speed: 28mph (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered:

Arrived at Newburgh to find around 8 people rigging up. Wind was sligjhtly less than St Combs earlier on, so rigged the 6.3 Target and Syncro. Blasting straight away, and I was going for chop hops off every half decent looking ramp. Everybody was having a ball. Wind picked up, and I could probably have got away with my 5.8m on my Tribal if I could be bothered, but just went on speed runs instead. Brilliant. Everybody had a cracking time - even Rob on his Fanatic 298 after breaking the nose of his X-Cite earlier in the day (pardon the pun). Probably one of the best days at Newburgh for quite a while.
